100 Day Challenge – Day 021

Today is a little special, because today is my first check-point for the 5 goals I set for the ‘100 Day Challenge‘.

You can discover how I got on a little further down the page, but first here is today’s challenge:

Day 21 – Create A Breakthrough

You know what, this was the best challenge yet. A really powerful message that I believe will change the whole way I see my future and that of my businesses.

Pretty good eh?

But, you know what, I am not going to tell you what it said, because I really want you to take the 100 Day Challenge yourself so you can reap the benefits.

So apart from the title above, I am not saying anything else, except the information I received on Day 21 is probably worth several times more than the course cost.

20 Day Goal Assessment

Back on the first day, I set myself 5 goals to achieve on the 100 Day Challenge.

Each goal was broken into 5 x 20 day periods, with interim goals set for each mini-period and yesterday was the end of that first period.

So below is a honest assessment of how I am doing on each of the goals and as such, a good reflection on the effectiveness the 100 Day Challenge has had on me:

1. Sales Funnel

Rating: B+

This is complete and now live. My next job is to drive as many targeted people to it as I can and see if it brings in some sales and increases the size of my list.

This task turned out to be much more difficult than I first expected and I met several challenges along the way, not least changing the products in the funnel itself.

The result is that the funnel is available from the link below:

The next part of the challenge will be to add a pop-up box if people try to exit the page and some follow-up emails to engage my new clients.

2. Drink 2 Litres of Water a Day

Rating: A

Success and feeling much better for it.

3. 100 Day Challenge

Rating: A

My goal was to implement the challenge each day and write a blog about my experiences.

I have successfully managed to achieve this and I can honestly say the change in my productivity has been astounding.

Focusing on the challenges set each day has developed my ability to produce and raised the quality of the finished product.

Really pleased on this one.

4. Partnership To Success

Rating: A

This was my mentoring program with John Thornhill, which I was around 16 weeks behind.

The challenge was to catch up over the course of the 100 days by completing 2 weeks of the course every 7 days.

The result is that I am 2 weeks ahead of my target, despite having to wait for several days waiting for my mentor John to agree on a way forward for the product I am developing.

So after a slow start, everything is kicking in well with this one. The next 20 days will be crucial though, as there is a lot of work to be crammed in if I am to meet the next target.

5. Weight Loss

Rating: D

I wanted to lose 6 lbs over the 20 days and I have only lost 1.

This means I will have to work extra hard to lose 11 lbs over the next 20 days to get back on track.

As I said originally, I do not weigh myself every day, so I had no idea that this was stalling so badly.

I have not managed to get as much exercise in as I hoped due to the amount of work I am spending on getting my new business launched, but this is no excuse.

I will make a schedule to ensure I can get regular exercise in from now on and I may weigh myself every week to make sure I have progress.

Bit disappointed with this result.

Goal Summary

My Rating: B+

100 Day Challenge Rating: A

Overall I am very pleased with what I have achieved and have had some really positive feedback from people I respect on what I am doing.

The next 20 days, with the official launch of my business, will be extremely challenging and it will be interesting if what I continue learning from the 100 Day Challenge will be enough to keep me on track.

Well done Terry – and I like the honest ratings 🙂

OK, you’ve inspired me on the increasing water consumption. I know that’s something I need to do. (Yes, I also need to do many of the other things – but I’m picking a fight I have a chance of winning!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Joy

The water is probably the most important goal of the five I set as it affects your health and your abilities to perform to the best of your ability.

The 100 Day Challenge is proving quite revolutionary for myself Joy. It will be interesting to see how much I change over the full course of it.

I didn’t think I would get this far, but it has inspired me to blog on a daily basis and by sharing my failures and achievements, I feel much more compelled to become someone who achieves.
